About the Campaign

Crystal Caves is now live on B² Network with the launch of the B² Genesis Cave, WORLD3’s official decentralized mining pool on the B² chain. As part of its first linkage event, B² Gold Miner, players can complete tasks on the QUEST platform to earn their very own B² Genesis Cave Helmet and gain access to a dedicated mining pool where they can continuously mine for Points, Lumens, and Tickets.

With every block mined, players earn Tickets to join the Gold Miner Event, offering opportunities to win Lumens, Points, and much more! This Beta is open to all players, giving everyone a chance to dive into Crystal Caves and begin mining their way to fortune.

• Gold Miner Event & Tickets Management The Gold Miner Event and ticket distribution are managed by Pell Network, not WORLD3. Once you win Tickets in Crystal Caves Beta, we share these details with Pell Network each Thursday at 4:00 AM UTC. Ticket updates may take a few hours to reflect in Pell Network’s system.

• Campaign Benefits Participate in the Venture into the B² Genesis Cave Campaign, where you can earn Lumens, WORLD3’s utility token, by completing missions and actively engaging in the game’s ecosystem.

Pre-requisites

Before beginning your adventure in Crystal Caves Beta, make sure you have the following essentials:

1. WORLD3 Account A WORLD3 account is required to access the game. If you haven't registered yet, visit the WORLD3 platform to create an account and join the mining action!

2. B² Genesis Cave Helmet The B² Genesis Cave Helmet is mandatory to participate in the Crystal Caves Beta on B² Network. This Helmet acts as your essential mining gear, enabling you to mine blocks and earn rewards. Follow the instructions in this guide to learn how to obtain yours!

Note: Helmets from the Crystal Caves Open Beta on SKALE will not work in the B² Genesis Cave. Make sure to get the B² Genesis Cave Helmet as outlined in this guide.

Step 1: Get your Helmet

The Helmet is essential mining equipment required to participate in Crystal Caves Beta and mine in the B² Genesis Cave.

Head to the WORLD3 platform and log in to begin your mining journey. Complete the Embark on the B² Network Mining Mission

• Under this mission, there are four tasks. Complete each task to qualify for your Helmet.

• Task 3 will prompt you to connect your B² wallet. We support MetaMask and OKX Wallet. To link your wallet, click “Connect” and select your preferred wallet.

Once you’ve completed Task 1 as shown below, click Claim to receive your Helmet. You’re now equipped to mine in the B² Genesis Cave!

Step 2: Bridge BTC to B² Network

Bridging BTC from the Bitcoin Network to B² Network enables you to play Crystal Caves and mine in the B² Genesis Cave. The bridged BTC will be used to pay for the gas-cost. Mining will unlock additional Tickets and Lumens.

To bridge BTC, complete the tasks under the Dive into B² Network Bridge mission page to receive BTC (on B² Network) and earn Lumens.

From our testing, we found that the simplest and most cost-effective way to bridge assets to the BTC B² Network is by using Meson.fi. This method streamlines the transfer and enables you to easily move assets from your CEX or DEX to BTC on the B² Network.

Example Route to Bridge Assets to B² Network

1. Start with your assets in your CEX or DEX.

2. Convert your assets to WBTC on the Polygon network.

3. Use Meson.fi to bridge WBTC (Polygon) to BTC on the B² Network.

This approach ensures a smooth and cost-effective bridging process.

After bridging is successfully completed and you own BTC on the B² Network, you can complete Task 3 Bridge BTC to B² Network under the Dive into B² Network Bridge.

Step 3: Start Playing Crystal Caves

With your Helmet and BTC successfully bridged to B² Network, you’re all set to explore the B² Genesis Cave! Embark on your mining adventure, earn rewards, and take part in the Gold Miner Campaign to maximize your treasures.

Understanding Crystal Caves

In Crystal Caves, players venture through cave environments, mining blocks to uncover valuable resources. Mining occurs directly on your device and is verified on-chain through contract transactions, ensuring transparency and security. Your goal is to mine as many valuable blocks as possible to earn Tickets, Lumens and Points.

User Interface

In the screenshot above, the labelled areas are explained below:

1. Mining Site Stats: Displays key statistics about the current mining site, including:

   1. Current Level (starting 0).

   2. Total blocks mined out of the available total at the current Level (e.g., 22/100,000).

2. Rewards Chest: Shows the current mined blocks, which can be rolled up into a single transaction on the blockchain.

Note: The chest can be opened only after the transaction completes.

1. Locate Player: Centers the camera on your player, useful if you've moved the view away and want to quickly return to your location.

2. Map: Access the cave map to navigate and explore.

3. Energy Stats: Displays your remaining energy (e.g., 989/1000). Each block mined consumes 1 energy, which refreshes every 24 hours.

4. Help & Settings:

   1. Help opens this Player’s Guide.

   2. Settings allows you to customize graphics and audio preferences.

5. Block Information: Displays details of the selected block, including potential rewards and properties.

6. Mine Button: Initiates the mining process for the selected block. It typically takes 6-12 seconds to mine a block.

7. Total Rewards: This shows the total rewards you have earned so far.

Game Rules

• Exploration and Mining: Move through the cave, select blocks, and press the Mine button to extract resources.

• Defogging Mechanism: Defogging is a process that reveals the properties of a block. Only defogged blocks can be mined.

  
• Adjacent Block Mining: You can only mine blocks adjacent to your player. If a block is not adjacent, the Mine button will be greyed out and disabled.

  
• Level Progression: Each level consists of a 10x10 block area (100 blocks total). Once you mine all blocks in a level, a new cave level is generated. Each level is private, allowing you to mine freely without interference from other players.

• Rewards Accumulation: The more blocks you mine, the more rewards you accumulate! Detailed information on rewards can be found in the Reward Distribution section.

How to Play

Kickstart your Crystal Caves mining adventure and unlock exciting rewards by following these steps!

Step 1. Enter the B² Genesis Cave

Head over to the Crystal Caves website and log in using your WORLD3 account (if you haven't already). Make sure you're logged in with the account that holds your Helmet, as it is required to participate in mining activities.

Click on the B² Genesis Cave to begin your treasure hunt and start exploring for valuable resources!

On the mining site screen, you’ll find:

• (1) Mining Site Name and Selected Chain (e.g., B² Mainnet)

• (2) Public Information about the mining site, with details on site attributes and current conditions

• (3) Accumulated Block Statistics showing mined blocks and other progress indicators

• (4) Go Mining button

After reviewing the site information, click Go Mining to begin your adventure.

Step 2. Mining Blocks in Crystal Caves

In Crystal Caves, players can explore the cave environment, mine blocks, and uncover valuable rewards like Tickets, Lumens, and Points. The mining process takes place on your device and is verified on-chain, ensuring secure and transparent gameplay.

How to Mine Blocks

To start mining, follow these steps:

1. Choose an adjacent block and click the Mine button. Alternatively, you can double-click any adjacent block to mine it directly.

   

   • Players can mine up to 10 blocks at a time. After 10 blocks, a roll-up transaction syncs the data on-chain and distributes rewards.

   • Energy available (max 1000 blocks every 24 hours) is displayed at the bottom left corner for tracking.

2. When you’ve mined 10 blocks, the Chest turns golden and displays "MAX," indicating it’s full. Click Roll Up to sync your progress, then Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

   

   

   
3. Once confirmed, a Rewards modal will pop up displaying all rewards from the roll-up. Click "OK" to continue. Check the Reward Distribution section in this guide for more details on rewards.

   
4. Repeat this process as much as possible. The more blocks you mine, the more rewards you earn!

Step 3. Claiming Tickets for Gold Miner Event

To view your accumulated tickets, click on Tickets in the Rewards section at the bottom right corner.

• Tickets Accumulated: Displays the number of tickets you’ve collected while mining blocks in Crystal Caves.

• Tickets Processed: Shows tickets synced with Pell Network for use in the Gold Miner event.

Note: Ticket statuses sync with Pell Network every Thursday at 4:00 AM UTC. Allow a few extra hours for updates to reflect in Pell Network’s system.

Reward Distribution

Rewards in Crystal Caves are instantly distributed to your WORLD3 account, with additional rewards based on leaderboard rankings. Here’s what you can earn:

Reward Type	Description
Tickets	Earn Tickets for the Gold Miner Event by mining valuable blocks. The rarer and more valuable the block, the more tickets you’ll accumulate!
Lumens	Lumens are WORLD3's utility token, awarded instantly for mining activities. Use Lumens to unlock special features and enhance your mining experience in the WORLD3 ecosystem.
Points	Points are earned with each block mined and contribute to your leaderboard position. The higher your rank, the greater the rewards you’ll unlock. View the Leaderboard to check your position.
USDT	USDT is awarded based on your rank on the B² Genesis Cave Leaderboard. Higher rankings yield higher USDT rewards, so mine strategically!
