Introduction to Crystal Caves
Crystal Caves is a multichain 3D mine-to-earn game that takes you on an adventurous journey through mysterious caves. Mine valuable blocks to uncover exciting rewards like Lumens and USDT/USDC. Plus, your mining progress unlocks eligibility for the $WAI Airdrop, adding even more value to every discovery! Crystal Caves is available on SKALE, Base and B² Network and will be expanding to opBNB, Sui and more in the coming weeks!

Step 1: Visit Crystal Caves
Go to the Crystal Caves website.
Step 2: Register WORLD3 Account
Click "Register" and enter your email address.
Verify the code sent to your email to complete registration.
Step 3: Begin your Crystal Caves Adventure
Game Objective
In Crystal Caves, players explore cave environments and mine blocks to discover valuable resources. Mining is done directly on the user’s device and verified on-chain through smart contract transactions, ensuring transparency and security.
Your goal is to mine as many valuable blocks as possible to earn USDT/USDC, Lumens, and points.
User Interface
The description of the areas displayed in the screenshot is as follows:
Mining Site Stats Shows key statistics related to the current mining site:
Current Level: The starting level is 0.
Number of Blocks Mined at Current Level: For example, 22/100,000.
Remaining Weekly USDT/USDC Reward Pool: For example, the remaining USDC for the week: 140.2 USDC.
Rewards Chest Displays the blocks mined so far. These blocks can be processed as a single transaction on the blockchain. Note: The chest can only be opened after the transaction is completed.
Locate Player Moves the camera to center on the player's location. This allows you to quickly return to the player’s position if the screen moves elsewhere.
Map Opens the cave map to view or navigate the exploration path.
Energy Stats Shows the remaining energy. For example: 989/1000.
Mining: Each block mined consumes 1 energy.
Energy Recovery: Automatically refills every 24 hours.
Help & Settings
Help: Opens the player guide.
Settings: Adjusts the graphic and audio settings to match your preferences.
Block Information Displays detailed information about the selected block, including expected rewards and block properties.
Mine Button: Starts the mining process for the selected block.
Mining Time: Mining a block typically takes 6-12 seconds.
Total Rewards: Shows the total rewards accumulated so far.
Game Rules
Exploration and Mining Move through the caves, select blocks, and click the Mine button to extract resources.
Defogging Mechanism Defogging is the process of revealing the properties of a block. Only defogged blocks can be mined.
Adjacent Block Mining You can only mine blocks adjacent to the player. For blocks that are not adjacent, the Mine button will be grayed out and inactive.
Level Progression Each level consists of a 10x10 block area, with a total of 100 blocks. Mining all the blocks in a level will generate a new cave level. Each level is provided individually, allowing you to mine freely without interference from other players.
Roll up to Save Progress Players can mine up to 10 blocks at a time. After mining 10 blocks, a roll-up transaction occurs to sync the data on-chain and distribute rewards. This means that after mining 10 blocks, you need to open the Roll Up box on the left to distribute the rewards before you can mine more blocks.
Limited Energy The available energy (up to 1000 blocks every 24 hours) is displayed at the bottom left of the screen for tracking.
Reward Accumulation The more blocks you mine, the more rewards you can accumulate! For detailed information about rewards, refer to the reward distribution section.
How to Play
Step 1: Enter a Cave
Go to the Crystal Caves website and log in with your WORLD3 account (if you haven't logged in yet, you will need to do so). Click on any cave to start mining for treasure.
To participate in the BaseAI Summit campaign, your wallet must have at least 0.0001 ETH on the Base chain to cover on-chain transaction fees.

Note for entering B² Genesis Cave
Bridging BTC from the Bitcoin Network to B² Network enables you to play Crystal Caves and mine in the B² Genesis Cave. The bridged BTC will be used to pay for the gas-cost. Mining will unlock additional Tickets and Lumens.
To bridge BTC, complete the tasks under the Dive into B² Network Bridge mission page to receive BTC (on B² Network) and earn Lumens.
From our testing, we found that the simplest and most cost-effective way to bridge assets to the BTC B² Network is by using Meson.fi. This method streamlines the transfer and enables you to easily move assets from your CEX or DEX to BTC on the B² Network.
Example Route to Bridge Assets to B² Network
Start with your assets in your CEX or DEX.
Convert your assets to WBTC on the Polygon network.
Use Meson.fi to bridge WBTC (Polygon) to BTC on the B² Network.
This approach ensures a smooth and cost-effective bridging process.
After bridging is successfully completed and you own BTC on the B² Network, you can complete Task 3 Bridge BTC to B² Network under the Dive into B² Network Bridge.
The items you can see on the mining site screen are as follows:
Mining Site Name and Selected Chain (e.g., Base Mainnet)
Public Information about the Mining Site: Details about the site's properties and current status
Accumulated Block Statistics: Number of mined blocks and other progress indicators
Start Mining Button (Go Mining button)
After reviewing the site information, click the 'Go Mining' button to start your adventure.
Step 2. Mining Blocks in Crystal Caves
Double-click on any adjacent block to start mining immediately. Alternatively, select an adjacent block and click the Mine button.
After mining 10 blocks, the reward chest turns golden and displays "MAX," indicating that the chest is full. At this point, click the Roll Up button to sync the progress, and then check the transaction in your wallet.
Once the transaction is confirmed, a reward window will appear displaying all the rewards received from the roll-up. Click the "OK" button to continue. For more details about the rewards, please refer to the reward distribution section in this guide.
Repeat this process as many times as possible. The more blocks you mine, the more rewards you can earn!
Step 3: Withdrawing USDT/USDC Rewards
If you have earned USDT or USDC rewards during the mining process, you will need to withdraw them manually. Click the "?" button next to the reward to check the reward amount, then proceed to withdraw the reward.
Having issues with blocks?
Your local client (browser) may have temporarily lost sync with the blockchain. To resolve this, we've added a feature to reset local data without affecting your rewards. Don't worry, your earned rewards are securely stored in the system. How to fix it:
Click the settings icon in the top-right corner.
Select RESET and confirm. That's it! The process will restart normally.

Step 4: Learn More about Pattern Matching
In the recent new Crystal Caves, we have introduced a pattern matching mechanism, which allows players to earn additional rewards by following specific block sequences. To ensure a better gameplay experience, we have also increased the mining pool size to 20x20, which is 4 times larger than before.
Pattern Matching Rules
The game interface now displays a sequence of 8 block types that players should follow to mine blocks. Blocks marked with a green check indicate those that have already been mined but are yet to be rolled up. The highlighted block shows the next block type to be mined.
To successfully complete a combo, players must mine the blocks in the correct order. When the combo is completed, the current sequence ends and a new combo will begin, with the "next" sequence becoming the current one.
However, if players mine the blocks in the wrong order, both the current and next sequences will be reset.
Roll up
The roll-up process is now automatic if you complete a sequence. As soon as players complete the current sequence, it will begin immediately. However, in the case of a declined transaction, players will need to manually click the roll-up button and confirm the transaction before continue mining.
If players are not following the pattern, they will still need to manually roll up.
Extra Reward
The Combo Giftbox shows the number of combos players have completed, with a progress indicator showing the progress towards next extra reward. Once players reach the "NEXT" combo goal, they will receive extra lumens after the roll-up, and they will advance to the next stage with a higher goal.
If players fail to complete a sequence, their completed combo count will be reset. However, the "NEXT" rewarded combo index will remain unchanged, meaning they cannot earn the lumens for the lower goal again. For example, if players fail to complete COMBO x 7, their completed combo count will be reset to 0, but the next rewarded combo will remain COMBO x 10 (rather than combo x 5).
Note: The completed combo count, including the next goal, resets daily (03:00 AM UTC).
Additional Rewards via QUEST
You can access QUEST tasks within the Crystal Caves game. Click on the dragon icon as shown below. This will open the QUEST task assistant directly within the game, allowing you to check and complete the tasks for the WORLD3 BaseAI Summit event without switching to a separate window.

Points
Points are earned each time a block is mined and contribute to the leaderboard ranking. The higher your rank, the greater the rewards you will unlock. Check your rank on the leaderboard.
Lumens
Lumens is the utility token of WORLD3, distributed immediately through mining activities. You can use Lumens to unlock special features and enhance your mining experience within the WORLD3 ecosystem.
USDC
To participate in the reward program, mine blocks and earn a chance to receive USDC rewards. Each block you mine gives you a chance to win from the total $10,000 USDC reward pool.
The reward pool is replenished weekly, with $1,000 USDC distributed each week. Keep mining to increase your chances of earning rewards!
Additional Leaderboard Rewards
Users who achieve high ranks on the Crystal Caves Points Leaderboard will have the opportunity to receive additional rewards. The top 100 users on the Crystal Caves Points Leaderboard will be eligible to participate in an additional $2,500 USDC reward pool.
