Introduction to $WAI Token

$WAI is the official on-chain token of the WORLD3 ecosystem, playing a pivotal role in the platform’s economy. While more details will be released soon, the token’s launch is currently planned for Q4 2024. Read more about the $WAI Token Utilities

Airdrop Overview

The Token Generation Event (TGE) Airdrop, commonly referred to as the Airdrop, is when Lumens, the off-chain utility tokens, will be converted into $WAI tokens. Users with Lumens in their WORLD3 accounts will be eligible to participate in this event. As part of the $WAI token distribution plan, we have allocated approximately 15% of the total token supply for Airdrop to Lumens holders during the Token Generation Event (TGE). To ensure a balanced distribution and maintain token value, these airdropped tokens will be subject to a vesting schedule, starting with a brief cliff period followed by gradual release over several months. This structured approach rewards early participants while promoting long-term engagement within the WORLD3 ecosystem.

Participating in $WAI Airdrop

• Launch Date: $WAI Airdrop will take place Q4 2024 (Planned).

• Airdrop Eligibility: To take part in the $WAI Airdrop, users need to earn Lumens. Having lumens in the WORLD3 account is the only way to be eligible for this airdrop.

• Additional benefits for SOUL Dragon and Landowners: Users holding SOUL Dragons and Land will be eligible for higher $WAI rewards during the airdrop by participating in the staking mission.

Staking Overview

Staking is a fundamental mechanism within the WORLD3 ecosystem, enabling users to earn rewards by locking up their assets. This process not only provides benefits to participants but also integrates with the broader token economy, enhancing the utility and value of both Lumens and $WAI tokens.

Staking Phase #1: Pre-Airdrop Staking

During this initial phase, Landowners and SOUL Dragon owners within the WORLD3 ecosystem have the opportunity to participate in staking:

• WORLD Land Staking: Landowners can stake their LAND assets to earn Lumens. These Lumens will accumulate over time and can be converted into $WAI tokens during the Airdrop event.

• SOUL Dragon Staking: Owners of SOUL Dragons can also stake their Dragons to claim Lumens. Similar to LAND staking, these Lumens are eligible for conversion into $WAI tokens during the Airdrop.

This phase allows users to build up their Lumen reserves and prepare for the upcoming TGE (Token Generation Event) Airdrop, where Lumens can be converted into the official $WAI token.

Staking Phase #2: Post-Airdrop Staking

Following the TGE Airdrop, Phase #2 of staking will become available:

• $WAI Token Staking: In this phase, users who hold $WAI tokens can stake them to earn Lumens. This mechanism allows $WAI holders to continue benefiting from the ecosystem by accumulating Lumens through their staked $WAI tokens.

This post-Airdrop staking phase provides a continuous way for users to engage with the WORLD3 ecosystem, offering rewards and enhancing the value of their $WAI holdings.
