Account Freezing Rules
Detailed Explanation of Account Freezing Rules
Detailed Explanation of Account Freezing Rules
Based on recent community feedback and user reports, we have detected abnormal fluctuations in participant numbers across certain platform activities. After conducting a thorough investigation, our technical team has confirmed that some accounts have been using unauthorized scripts to fabricate interaction activities. To ensure the fairness and security of the WORLD3 platform and prevent the abuse of bots and Sybil accounts, we will be freezing the following accounts:
Accounts with Identical IP Addresses
Rule Explanation: If multiple accounts register or operate using the exact same IP address, these accounts will be considered highly associated. Such behavior typically indicates that these accounts may be controlled by the same entity, posing risks of Sybil attacks or bulk bot registrations.
Freezing Measures: For accounts confirmed to share the same IP address, the platform will take the following actions:
Label them as "Highly Associated Accounts";
Restrict part or all of the account's functionalities;
Permanently freeze accounts confirmed to be in violation.
Accounts with Similar Email Addresses
Rule Explanation: If multiple accounts register using highly similar email addresses (e.g.,
user1@domain.com
,user2@domain.com
,user3@domain.com
), these accounts will be considered at risk of coordinated operations. Such behavior typically indicates that these accounts may have been created in bulk by the same entity, attempting to bypass the platform's registration restrictions.Freezing Measures: For accounts registered with similar email addresses, the platform will take the following actions:
Label them as "Suspicious Accounts";
Restrict part or all of the account's functionalities;
Permanently freeze accounts confirmed to be in violation.
Coordinated Multi-Account Violations
Rule Explanation:
Multiple accounts exhibiting persistent and repeated identical behavioral patterns (e.g., likes, complete tasks, data requests) at the same time points over an extended period; Multiple accounts displaying clear collaborative characteristics (e.g., identical IP/device fingerprints, highly consistent behavioral patterns) will be identified as malicious activities involving a single entity controlling multiple accounts.
Freezing Measures:
For accounts confirmed to engage in coordinated multi-account violations, the platform will implement the following measures:
Flagged as "Highly Linked Accounts";
Restrict part or all of the account's functionalities;
Permanently freeze accounts confirmed to be in violation.
Abnormal Single-Account Operations
Rule Explanation:
A single account performing multiple complex operations across different categories (e.g., follows, joins communities, reposts) within an extremely short timeframe, with a frequency exceeding normal human capacity and exhibiting clear characteristics of unauthorized scripting; Behavioral patterns demonstrating non-human traits (e.g., zero response latency, fixed operation intervals) will be identified as unauthorized scripting activity.
Freezing Measures:
For accounts confirmed to share the same IP address, the platform will implement the following measures:
Flagged as "Suspicious Accounts";
Restrict part or all of the account's functionalities;
Permanently freeze accounts confirmed to be in violation.
Accounts Exploiting Backend Interfaces or Vulnerabilities
Rule Explanation: If an account is found to bypass the frontend interface and directly interact with backend APIs, or attempt to exploit platform-side vulnerabilities for abnormal gains (e.g., task manipulation, unauthorized data access, reward farming), such behavior is considered a severe violation. This includes activities that circumvent normal usage flow, undermine system integrity, or exploit internal APIs for automation or fraud.
Freezing Measures: For accounts confirmed to have exploited backend logic or vulnerabilities, the platform will implement the following measures:
Flagged as “Severe Risk Accounts”;
Immediately restrict all account functionalities;
Permanently freeze the account and confiscate any unfairly obtained rewards or assets.
Exceptions: If users believe their accounts were flagged in error and can provide valid justification (e.g., legitimate use of public networks or shared IP addresses, registrations by enterprise or team members, or other reasonable explanations), the platform will reassess the account status and may lift the freeze based on the evidence provided.
Freezing Process and User Rights
Freezing Notification: When an account is frozen, the user will receive a notification when they login.
Review and Unfreezing: The platform will conduct a manual review upon receiving the appeal and decide whether to unfreeze the account based on the review results.
User Responsibilities
Users must ensure that their registration information is authentic, valid, and complies with the platform's relevant regulations. Any attempt to bypass platform rules will be considered a violation.
Rule Updates
To stay ahead of evolving security threats, the WORLD3 platform will implement the following measures:
Continuous Rule Updates The platform will regularly refine its freezing rules and detection mechanisms to address new forms of abuse and emerging technical threats, ensuring a fair and secure environment.
Regular and Ad-Hoc Reviews The platform will conduct both scheduled and unscheduled account reviews, monitoring factors such as IP addresses, email addresses, and on-chain activities to detect and prevent potential violations.
