## Step 1: Start Exploring Crystal Caves

You are ready to explore the **SKALE Summit Cave**! Embark on your mining adventure to earn more rewards!

**Discover Crystal Caves**\
In the Crystal Caves, players navigate through cave environments, mining blocks to uncover valuable resources. Mining occurs directly on your device and is validated on-chain through smart contract transactions, ensuring transparency and security. Your goal is to mine as many valuable blocks as possible to earn USDC, Lumens, and Points.

In the screenshot above, the labelled areas are explained below:

1. **Mining Site Stats**: Displays key statistics about the current mining site, including:
   1. Current Level (starting 0).
   2. Total blocks mined out of the available total at the current **Level** (e.g., 22/100,000).
   3. The remaining amount in the weekly USDC reward pool (e.g., 140.2 USDC remaining to be claimed this week).
2. **Rewards Chest:** Shows the current mined blocks, which can be rolled up into a single transaction on the blockchain.

> *Note:* The chest can be opened only after the transaction completes.

3. **Locate Player:** Centers the camera on your player, useful if you've moved the view away and want to quickly return to your location.
4. **Map**: Access the cave map to navigate and explore.
5. **Energy Stats**: Displays your remaining energy (e.g., 989/1000). Each block mined consumes 1 energy, which refreshes every 24 hours.
6. **Help & Settings:**
   1. **Help** opens this Player’s Guide.
   2. **Settings** allows you to customize graphics and audio preferences.
7. **Block Information**: Displays details of the selected block, including potential rewards and properties.
8. **Mine Button**: Initiates the mining process for the selected block. It typically takes 6-12 seconds to mine a block.
9. **Total Rewards**: This shows the total rewards you have earned so far.

**Game Rules**

* **Exploration and Mining**: Move through the cave, select blocks, and press the **Mine** button to extract resources.
* **Defogging Mechanism:** Defogging is a process that reveals the properties of a block. Only defogged blocks can be mined.

* **Adjacent Block Mining:** You can only mine blocks adjacent to your player. If a block is not adjacent, the **Mine** button will be greyed out and disabled.

* Level Progression: Each level consists of a 10x10 area of blocks (totaling 100 blocks). Once you have mined all the blocks in a level, a new cave level will be generated. Each level is private, allowing you to mine freely without interference from other players.
* Reward Accumulation: The more blocks you mine, the more rewards you accumulate! Detailed information about rewards can be found in the reward allocation section.

Kickstart your **Crystal Caves** mining adventure and unlock exciting rewards by following these steps!

**Step 1. SKALE Summit Cave**

Head over to the [**Crystal Caves website**](https://world3.ai/crystalcaves/cave) and log in using your WORLD3 account (if you haven't already).&#x20;

**Click on SKALE Summit Cave** to begin your treasure-hunting journey and explore valuable resources!

On the mining site screen, you’ll find:

* (1) **Mining Site Name and Selected Chain** (e.g., SKALE Nebula)
* (2) **Public Information** about the mining site, with details on site attributes and current conditions
* (3) **Accumulated Block Statistics** showing mined blocks and other progress indicators
* (4) **Go Mining** button

After reviewing the site information, **click Go Mining** to begin your adventure.

**Step 2. Mining Blocks in Crystal Caves**

In **Crystal Caves**, players can explore the cave environment, mine blocks, and uncover valuable rewards like USDC, Lumens, and Points. The mining process takes place on your device and is verified on-chain, ensuring secure and transparent gameplay.

**How to Mine Blocks**

To start mining, follow these steps:

1. Double-click any adjacent block to mine it directly or select an adjacent block and click "Mine".<br>

* Players can mine up to **10 blocks** at a time. After 10 blocks, a **roll-up transaction** syncs the data on-chain and distributes rewards.
* Energy available (max 1000 blocks every 24 hours) is displayed at the bottom left corner for tracking.

2. When you’ve mined 10 blocks, the **Chest** turns golden and displays "MAX," indicating it’s full. Click **Roll Up** to sync your progress, then **Confirm** the transaction in your wallet.

3\. Once confirmed, a **Rewards modal** will pop up displaying all rewards from the roll-up. Click "**OK**" to continue. Check the **Reward Distribution** section in this guide for more details on rewards.

4. Repeat this process as much as possible. The more blocks you mine, the more rewards you earn!<br>

**Step 3: Withdraw Your USDC Rewards**

If you have earned USDC rewards during the mining process, you will need to withdraw them manually. **Click on the "Claim" button** next to the reward to verify the amount and withdraw your rewards.

USDC is distributed as the Europa USDC token ([viewable in the explorer](https://green-giddy-denebola.explorer.mainnet.skalenodes.com/token/0xCC205196288B7A26f6D43bBD68AaA98dde97276d)). To transfer it to another chain, such as converting it to USDT on Ethereum, you can use the [official bridge](https://bridge.skale.network/bridge?from=green-giddy-denebola\&to=mainnet\&token=usdc\&type=erc20). For added flexibility, third-party bridges like [Meson.fi](https://meson.fi/swap) are also available to easily move tokens across different chains.

Your local client (browser) might have temporarily lost sync with the blockchain. To fix this, we've added a feature to reset your local data without affecting your rewards—they’ll remain safely stored in the system.

**Here's How to Fix It:**

1. Click the **Settings** icon in the top right corner.
2. Select **RESET** and then confirm.

This will directly open the QUEST task assistant within the game, allowing you to access and complete tasks for the WORLD3 SKALE Summit event without switching to a separate window.

## Reward Distribution <a href="#reward-distribution" id="reward-distribution"></a>

Rewards in **Crystal Caves are instantly distributed to your WORLD3 account**, with additional rewards based on leaderboard rankings. Here’s what you can earn:<br>
