Introduction to Lumens

Lumens are the off-chain utility tokens within the WORLD3 ecosystem, playing a crucial role in enhancing user experiences and enabling various platform functionalities. Lumens can be converted into on-chain tokens during the $W3C Airdrop, adding versatility to their use across the platform.

Earning Lumens

Lumens can be earned through various in-game or platform-related activities such as:

  1. WORLD3 QUEST: Complete tasks or challenges on the QUEST platform to earn Lumens as rewards.

  2. AI Chat with SOUL Dragons: Participate in incentivized AI chat sessions with SOUL Dragons to unlock additional Lumen rewards.

  3. WORLD3 dApps (P2E Games: Crystal Cave Mining Game): Participate in WORLD3’s first fully on-chain mining adventure game and earn Lumens by mining blocks.

  4. Staking: Earn Lumens through staking activities. There are two staking phases:

    • Phase 1: Pre-Airdrop period.

    • Phase 2: Post-Airdrop period.

Spending Lumens

Lumens offer multiple spending opportunities across the WORLD3 ecosystem:

  1. WORLD3 QUEST: Spend Lumens on special missions within the QUEST platform.

  2. WORLD3 dApps: Utilize Lumens in decentralized applications available on the WORLD3 platform, including spending them in the Crystal Cave Mining game to unlock special abilities and earn additional rewards.

  3. User-Generated Content (UGC): Spend Lumens on content and activities created by other users within the platform.

This versatility offers users a range of options for utilizing their Lumens within and beyond the platform.

Controlled Lumen Release

The release of Lumens is designed to follow a controlled schedule. To manage inflation and maintain the token's value, the release rate is constant. This ensures that the market isn't flooded with too many tokens at once, which helps to stabilize the token's value over time.
